Disappointed

I just had the Wabco air compressor for my Cummins diesel overhauled yesterday, and I am very disappointed so far. After the overhaul the compressor was painted, but he technician made no effort at all to protect the threaded fittings,or the drive gear. I spent two hours today cleaning the gear teeth, and the threads on the fittings. For pete’s sake guys they make plastic fitting covers that only take seconds to intstall just for that purpose. In addition, the sensing line fitting on the side of the unit was missing, and Imhad to go but another one. After all these problems I hope the compressor works properly when it gets installed tomorrow. One thing is for sure, I will be giving anything else I get rebuilt at Walker a thorough check before leaving, and I suggest everyone else do the same.
